Nice, i like the look of torment on its face, its very "Lovecraftian" like something from the Cutuhlu mythos =D

Well, I took a chunk of burnt tree and rubbed it in various ways on a piece of flattened tree, and a couple hours later this appeared.

Ah. Now, armed with that knowledge (burn one tree and squish another), I too can create highly detailed and sophisticated images through two-dimensional representation.

Thanks!

A pockmarked brain is also essential, of course. At least, it is to deter any annoying semblence of beauty from finding its way into the finished image. Mmmm, tree.

Once again, your fiendish creatures spark my imagination... very, very awesome. I love that expression of despair...

Ah, this is wonderful work, especially with charcoal since I find it a pain. Did you use chalk to clean that up any? . ;x

Egad. What's really frightening in this (to me, anyway) is not so much the worms, but the holes that seem to have opened up in the poor creature's skin... and the utterly distraught expression. You always do such a masterful job of capturing heights of feeling. The pure fear in this really soaks out like lye... Incredible work.

Thank you so much! I was imagining that maybe those open wounds were the entrance points of the worm infestation, so that there's something more than skin deep....eheheh, for some reason it's much easier to create horrid things than it is to look at them at once.
