Volatile Whore

A craptastic image due to it being more experimental, sketchy, and a learning experience then anything, but there's a few undefinable things I rather like about it. I don't consider it finished, though, just trying to shove an idea across wholly. Backgrounds too! Woo.

Halfway through I realized it's not about the faceless prostitute, she barely is more than an automaton. It's all about the glowwyrm , actually, a kind of reptillian pimp or druglord, gorging on the cancerous radioactive sludge, growing bloated and huge to engulf his realm with his flesh.

Something about sex and sleaze (how many analogies can you find, Freud?), about filth just below the surface. About flesh and grime. About slime. And, metaphorically, perhaps about kitch and sacrilige and degradation.

[[But yeah, okay, it was also just an excuse to play with That Glow. There was a nice odd effect of both figure's eyes glowing into each other's. Whacky.]]
